To all of the Americans, do you get how lucky you are to be able to live where you do? I mean, the ability to stay longer than 90 days without requiring a visa to me seems like a mythical, unattainable utopian dream. Why does it have to be so damn hard.
Really? The fact that I have just successfully completed my Masters Degree (with distinction) is not enough for you?! Because my 4.5 years of tertiary study isn’t consecutive you have decided that I am to be denied the opportunity spend thousands of my own dollars to come and work in some menial job for 12 months?
I just want the opportunity to spend a decent amount of consecutive time with the man I love, actually having a chance to try an normal relationship without 12,000 kms separating us.
